collection (Request for a new OMB Control Number)
EPA is amending the New Source
Performance Standards (NSPS) for Petroleum Refineries by proposing
a new subpart for affected sources constructed, reconstructed, or
modified after May 14, 2007 (40 CFR part 60, subpart Ja). Sources
potentially subject to this standard are petroleum refineries.
Subject sources have emission requirements for particulate matter,
sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide. Consequently,
these sources are subject to monitoring, reporting, and
recordkeeping requirements so that EPA may target inspections and
determine compliance.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
