In an effort to comply with the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) requirements
regarding transparency in the use of funds, AmeriCorps VISTA is
seeking OMB approval for a new VISTA Recovery Progress Report
Supplement (VRPRS). Specifically, VISTA is seeking to create a
quarterly reporting tool that will provide data relating to the
outcomes of the ARRA funds.
The Corporation for
National and Community Service received funding through the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to provide
additional funds to current grantees. We are requesting emergency
approval, because a longer review will not allow the Corporation to
disburse the funds in a timely manner according to the Recovery
Act.
