Knowledge refers to student content knowledge such as history, terminology, recognition, and cultural relevance. Example – students’ ability to identify a particular dance step, whether or not they are capable of performing it. Skills refers to students’ actual ability to perform or produce art. Example – how well students perform the dance step. We will begin with questions regarding student knowledge.
