Ask your doctor about getting tested for colon cancer. Testing is important for all
men and women aged 50 and older.
There are several tests used to detect colon cancer. With your doctor, decide
which screening test is right for you.
Make arrangements to be tested.
Find out when and how you will learn the test results. For example, will the
doctor call you or mail the results? Or do you need to call your doctor's
office to learn the results?
