The Lead Safe Housing Rule requires:
providing a pamphlet on lead poisoning prevention to tenants and
purchases, providing a notice to occupants on the results of hazard
evaluation and hazard reduction actions, special reporting if there
is a child with an environmental intervention blood lead level
residing in the unit, and record keeping.
HUD has updated the hour burden
estimates. These updates are the results of new estimations of
burden or costs, a better understanding of the respondent universe,
and information on how the rule is being implemented.
