Abstract: The purpose of this effort is to conduct follow-up activities with the approximately 8,000 veterans that entered suitable employment during fiscal year 2007. Specifically, the VA wants to obtain additional information regarding their success and status after the closure of their VR&E case, typically 60 days after the start of employment. This information gathering and tracking over time of disabled veteran’s employment and earnings statistics was recommended by the President’s Commission on Care for America’s Returned Wounded Warriors, July 2007.
