Consistent with the Enhance 911 Act,
and in order to monitor compliance with the requirements of Section
20.18(g)(1)(v) of the Commission's rules, the Commission has
imposed reporting requirements on wireless service providers and
has implemented an Excel spreadsheet for Tier I and II carriers to
report their E911 information as an appendix to their narrative
reports. This allows the Commission to track E911 deployment in a
more uniform and consistent manner, as well as assist E911
stakeholders in coordinating their deployment efforts.
There is a slight adjustment in
the estimated number of respondents and responses. The Commission
is reporting 70 additional responses. There is no change in the
total estimated burden hours.
