Terms of Clearance: FTC and OMB agree that the Internet panel used in this study is a convenience sample and is not nationally representative; however, it is a useful vehicle permitting random assignment of people in the current experimental design for comparing different product claims. FTC will clearly note the limitations of the sample in all of their reports that utilize data from this study.
