Abstract: The information collected allows CCC to effectively provide disaster assistance to producers of commercial crops and agriculture commodities.

Emergency Justfication: We are requesting an emergency approval by 6/17/2009 for form CCC-583 that is needed to implement a temporary process for certifying that recipients of crop disaster assistance do not exceed benefit limits. This request is urgently needed so that we can begin making payments for crop disaster assistance. The new form shows producers their previously provided information and requires them to sign the new form to certify the information is correct; it does not require the producer to provide any additional information.
