The
Common Fund Early Independence Award (EIA) program is requesting
input from the scientific community to help identify crucial needs,
gaps, and barriers in the application and review process. The
questions are intended to assess satisfaction levels with various
components of the program, and the responses are expected to reveal
gaps and highlight opportunities for enhancement. The
information collected will increase our
understanding of the levels of community satisfaction with each EIA
component, which will
aid in identifying specific, achievable goals to enhance the
program. The input from the editorial board reviewers is vital. The
proposed questions will generate knowledge, which will be used to
improve the program and the development of future initiatives.
