HUD NEPA ARRA Section 1609(c) reporting

Section 1609(c) of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) requires grantees to provide information to HUD about
compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Review requirements.

You are required to provide accurate data for all fields below for each project receiving ARRA funds. A "project" is defined as the
subject of a single specific Environmental Review.

Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 30 minutes. This includes the time for collecting,
reviewing, and reporting the data. The information is being collected for reporting on the status and progress of ARRA grantees. HUD
will use the information to capture the data required by the National Environmental Policy Act. Response to this request for
information is required in order to receive the benefits to be derived. This agency may not collect this information, and you are not
required to complete this form unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. No confidentiality is assured. (OMB control #

* 11. Are all environmental review requirements for this project completed and
compliance approved?
If a project is exempt, the environmental review is complete when a determination
of exemption is made. If a project is not exempt (requires an environmental
assessment or is categorically excluded but is subject to the related laws) then it is
complete when the grantee is in receipt of a HUD Form 7015.16 or an equivalent
letter.
