The Centers for Public Health Preparedness Program was initiated to strengthen terrorism and emergency preparedness by linking academic expertise to state and local health agency needs. This program brings together 27 accredited Schools of Public Health to commonly focus on the establishment of a national network of education and training resources to address public health preparedness. This evaluation will document effectiveness and impact of the program. Data will be collected from existing program products and reports, and perceptual data from awardees, key partners, and customers. Data will be analyzed to determine key outcomes of the program and to provide recommendations for future work.
