The COPS Hiring Recovery Program
(CHRP) progress is a short report that supplements the OMB mandated
quarterly report for Recovery Act recipients with information that
the COPS Office requires for proper grant management and
performance measurement. Ultimately, the CHRP progress report will
be merged with the already approved COPS Hiring Progress Report
collection, but to meet OMB mandated timelines on performance
measurement, this collection needs to be a separate collection for
approximately the first three calendar quarters beginning
10/1/09.
To meet OMB mandated
performance measures and to ensure proper grant implementation of
grants made with Recovery Act funds, the COPS Office must require
COPS Hiring Recovery Program (CHRP) grantees to submit a quarterly
progress report directly to the COPS Office. This is in addition to
the Recovery Act report that will be required through
www.FederalReporting.gov. The reports will be due 30 days after the
end of each calendar quarter. The COPS Office respectfully requests
emergency clearance on this collection so that it can be used by
grantees during the reporting period beginning October 1,
2009.
To meet OMB mandated
performance measures and to ensure proper grant implementation of
grants made with Recovery Act funds, the COPS Office must require
COPS Hiring Recovery Program (CHRP) grantees to submit a quarterly
progress report directly to the COPS Office.
