What is this collection about?	This collection of information requires an owner or builder of a commercial vessel to submit to the Coast Guard (CG) for review and approval, plans pertaining to marine engineering systems to ensure that the vessel will meet regulatory standards.

How is the information submitted?	The information must be submitted in accordance with the regulations. Information may be submitted to the CG Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection (OCMI) at the local Sector Office, or the CG Marine Safety Center (MSC).
