Short Statement: Form 4626 is used by corporations to calculate their alternative minimum tax. New lines were added to account for the proper reporting of the alternative tax for corporations with qualified. We labeled lines 1 through 14 as Part I, and added Part II to implement the addition of the alternative tax for corporations with qualified timber gains (section 55(b)(4) and P.L. 110-246). The addition reporting requirement will result in a total burden increase of 14,400 hours.
