The regulations establish the standards to participate in the student financial assistance programs authorized by Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, (HEA) as amended, (Title IV, HEA programs). The proposed regulations assure the Secretary that the integrity of the program is protected from fraud and misuse of program funds.
