The information collections assigned to this OMB Control No. are necessary for EDA to effectively administer the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms program as authorized under chapters 3 and 5 of title II of the Trade Act of 1974.
To accommodate the changes to the TGAAA (revised the definition of an applicant under the TAAF Program to include service sector firms and creation of the new CTAA Program), the respondents, responses, and burden hours are increased.
Petitions  espondents/responses from 173 to 673; burden hours from 1,384 to 5,519.
Proposals  respondents/responses from 193 to 493; burden hours from 23,160 to 59,160.
