The Administration for Children and
Families (ACF) of the Department of Health and Human Services
(DHHS) is requesting Office of Management and Budget (OMB)
clearance for the data collection instruments and procedures, plans
for data analysis, and reporting of findings to be used in a
cross-site evaluation of its Children's Bureau's grantee cluster,
Supporting Evidence-Based Home Visiting to Prevent Child
Maltreatment (EBHV). The Cross-Site EBHV Evaluation will collect
information from the 17 EBHV grantees to augment the existing
evidence base by identifying successful strategies for adopting,
implementing, and sustaining high quality home visiting programs to
prevent child maltreatment. This will be done through support of
rigorous local evaluations as well as using this data and
cross-site research to assess participant, program, and systems
change outcomes.
