Justification for Proposed Changes to Approved Survey Instrument
The Stakeholder Partnerships, Education and Communication (SPEC) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Satisfaction Survey was approved by OMB on September 29, 2009. In addition to the SPEC related ARRA Taxpayer Outreach survey instruments, W&I Research and Analysis (WIRA) and SPEC propose to make enhancements to this study to incorporate additional SPEC Taxpayer Outreach initiatives of the targeted SPEC population such as EITC, Child tax credit and retirements. SPEC will continue to pre and post tests as with ARRA, but expand to any and all SPEC product lines.
The burden and cost estimates for this data collection has not changed from the original submission, only the collection beginning and end dates. The survey instrument will retain the same number of questions; however, the questions will change with the seminar subject and audience, accordingly, as with ARRA taxpayer initiatives.
