Documents are used to set up and
maintain trusts under the Ethics in Government Act for incoming and
incumbent executive branch officials. Qualified trusts help
officials avoid conflicts between their personal holdings and their
Government duties.
Current inventory report
covering these documents continues to incorrectly indicate an
annual hour burden, despite the fact that OMB advised OGE
previously NOT to report both an hourly burden and a cost burden.
OGE submitted to OMB an 83-C form to change this figure to zero in
June 2005, again in May 2007, and again in OGE's September 2007 ICR
submission. An extended explanation is included in the Supporting
Statement Item 12.
