The increase and decrease in burden is a result of both (i) the expiration of the prior Information Collection (form No. 1000E-2005A) and (ii) a more precise assessment of burden as a result of monitoring the information collection activities during the prior IC. The burden estimates on the previously approved collection of information were estimates for a new IC. As a result of monitoring the information collection activities over the three year period, the agency is able to provide more precise burden estimates.
