The information collection
requirements are needed to help provide protection to workers who
use electrical protective equipment and who are involved in
industries engaged in electric power generation, transmission, and
distribution work.

The Agency calculated separate
burden hours for the testing of gloves and sleeves. This is in
addition to there being an increase in the number of power-line
installers and repairers from 103,160 to 113,000 who use this
protective equipment. In addition, there was an increased in the
number of all affected workers 227,683 to 275,000.

1320.8(b)(3).
