year. Upon resubmission, it is suggested DOE revisit burden
estimates and overall implementation plans, especially if DOE
should consider expanding this collection beyond ARRA related
projects/programs.

This package collection consists of a
form and requested information that will identify and describe
subject matter experts who are available to review financial
assistance applications under the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act (AARA). The purpose of the Act is to 1) Preserve
and create jobs and promote economic recovery; 2) Assist those most
impacted by the recession; 3) Provide investments needed to
increase economic efficiency by stimulating technological advances
in science and health; 4) Invest in transportation, environmental
protection, and other local government budgets, in order to
minimize and avoid reductions in essential services and
counterproductive state and local tax increases.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
