I am writing to ask for your help with an important national research study called the National Household Education Survey, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. The study will help educators, policymakers, and researchers to understand educational experiences and needs.
This short questionnaire asks about the people in your household. Your answers to this questionnaire will tell us if anyone in your household is eligible for our research study. If so, we will send another survey in about two weeks and ask a knowledgeable parent or guardian to fill out the survey about one child or youth. Early education and care programs for babies and preschoolers;
Family activities that help children develop and learn; and
Families’ and children’s experiences with schools or with homeschooling.
Even if there are no children or youth in your household, we ask that you complete and return this form.
