The Standards of Performance for
Commercial and Industrial Solid Waste Incineration Units for which
Construction is Commenced after November 30, 1999 or for which
Modification or Reconstruction is Commenced on or after June 1,
2001, were promulgated on December 1, 2000 and contain emission
standards for toxic metals, dioxins/furans, carbon monoxide,
opacity, particular matter, sulfur dioxide, oxides of nitrogen,
along with operating limits, monitoring, reporting, and
recordkeeping requirements. The standards require compliance
reports, control plans, waste management plans.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
