Regulation promulgates the policies
and procedures authorizing loan guarantees for Single Family
Housing loans made by approved lenders in order to make credit
available for households unable to get credit without the loan
guarantee.
The increase of 625,113 burden
hours is a combination of correcting the omission of burden for the
URLA application on the previous submission spreadsheet. Increase
is also attributed to considered is a change in the average loan
amount, additional lenders participating in the program, due to a
change in the program funding level and a keener interest by
industry partners and demand from the public.
