This collection of information is necessary to conduct surveys to detect and measure the presence of exotic plant pests and weeds and to input survey data into a national computer-based system known as the Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey (CAPS).
The last submission accounted for 155 respondents; however, in this submission we are only asking for 54 respondents. Some of the 155 respondents were counted more that once and that should not have been the case because they were the same respondents completing the activities. There is an adjustment of -21,772 responses because the number of responses per respondent decreased for the survey activity and increased for the Specimens for Determination; this resulted in an overall decrease of 21,772 responses. As a result of these changes the burden decreased by -504 hours.
