This rule will implement section 102(b) of the CPSIA, which requires certifications of compliance with safety standards for each product subjet to a consumer product safety rule, ban, standard, or reulation promulgated and/or enforced by the CPSC. The rule will impose recordkeeping requirements related to those testing and certification requirements.
