This submission is a request for an information collection to implement the complaint procedure portion of 29 C.F.R. 471, which the Department published as a notice and comment rulemaking (NPRM) on August 3, 2009 (74 FR 38488). The comment period closed on September 2, 2009, and, after review of comments received, the Department is simultaneously submitting a final rule implementing 29 C.F.R. 471 to OMB for review along with this information collection request. The Department did not submit this information collection request simultaneously with the publication of the NPRM, and it therefore published a notice, with a 60-day comment period, informing the public of this information collection request and seeking comment on the proposed burden. The Department did not receive any comments from this notice.

Additionally, the Department is in the process of developing a poster that will be available on the Internet for downloading and prior to disseminating the poster, the Department will submit it to OMB under the Paperwork Reduction Act as no material non-substantive change request.
