Cable operators submit this form to local franchising authorities ("LFAs") or to the Commission in situations where the Commission has assumed jurisdiction. Cable operators also file FCC Form 1200 with the Commission when responding to a complaint filed with the Commission about cable programming services rates and associated equipment.
