The Community Broadcasters Protection
Act directed the Commission to make Class A television licensees
subject to the same operating requirements as that of full-service
broadcast stations. The Commission has modified Part 73 to
incorporate Class A licensees. The data will be used to ensure that
the public is being served and will not cause harmful
interference.
There are no program changes to
this collection. There are adjustments of -80 to the number of
annual responses and -28,547 to the annual burden hours which are
due to the Commission re-evaluating the number of responses and
burden hours for this collection. Also, there is an increase of
+$699,500 to the annual cost burden which is due to increases in
consulting costs.
