Abstract: Marketing Order No. 946 provides that whenever potatoes are regulated, such potatoes must be inspected by the Federal State Inspection Program and certified as meeting applicable requirements of such regulations. During suspension of the regulations for russet potatoes, the Committee requires handler reports specific to russet potato shipments in order to collect assessments and to compile statistics.
