The Department of Homeland Security,
Science and Technology Directorate, TechSolutions program will be
collecting submitter and capability gap information from first
responders (federal state, local, and tribal police, firefighters,
and Emergency Medical Service). This will be accomplished using web
based technology. The information will be used to address reported
capability gaps, leading to improved safety and
productivity.
Since technology system that
employs collection instrument has been in a product state for a few
years, there are less users registering for accounts. Also request
for information are decreasing as the user base has become familiar
with operational policies.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
