This submission includes all
information collection requirements used by FMCSA in support of the
Title 49 CFR part 375, Transportation of Household Goods in
Interstate Commerce, Consumer Protection Regulations.
This revision resulted in a
program adjustment increase of 1,003,663 estimated annual burden
hours [5,556,400 proposed estimated annual burden hours - 4,552,737
currently approved estimated annual burden hours = 1,003,663]. The
change in burden hours arose from the following sources:(1) an
increase in the number of respondents from 4,000 to 6,000 firms;
(2) an increase in the number of moves from 600,000 to 800,000; and
the Agency's reconsideration of all of its annual burden
assumptions.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
