NCUA requests OMB approval of collections of information contained in a joint Notice of Proposed Rulemaking by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Office of Thrift Supervision, and the National Credit Union Administration (Agencies) proposing amendments to their rules in order to implement the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act) which was enacted as Title V of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, Pub. L. No. 110-289.
This collection is part of an interagency rulemaking in which NCUA has been involved with the other federal banking agencies. NCUA recieved no comments regarding PRA compliance or its estimates as presented in the joint proposed rule. In order to coincide release in conjunction with the other banking agencies, the NCUA requests expedited processing of the collection.
