ORR-6 Major changes and additional reporting elements:

SCHEDULE A:

Program Narrative


  1. Format is restructured in order for all states’ reports to have some uniformity and standards.

  2. States will provide information about the reasons and number of exemptions from registration for employment services by RCA recipients.

  3. States will provide breakdown of Refugee Medical Screening done in 30, and 90 days, and number of refugees not screened.

  4. States will provide data on adult and children refugee health referrals and top five health issues.

  5. States will provide in a new format data about their monitoring activities.


SCHEDULE B:


Cash and Medical Assistance, Refugee Medical Screenings

  1. States will report total number of participants served in the reporting period instead of numbers at the end of the reporting period.


SCHEDULE C:


Services Report: Employment Services 45CFR 400.154(a)

  1. New RCA efficiency measure is added providing the number of RCA participants reaching eight months from arrival during the reporting period and number of grant terminations for those RCA recipients due to income from employment. This will be unduplicated data compiled for each trimester for all states to determine annual national efficiency rate of RCA recipients’ self-sufficiency at the 240th day.

  2. States will report breakdown of participants for each type of client and total number of participants for all types (RCA, TANF, Other CA, No CA).

  3. Reporting employment data by gender is discontinued.


SCHEDULE C:


Services Report, Page 2: Employability Services, 45 CFR 400.154 (b)-(k)

  1. For ELT, states will report total number of participants and breakdown by age and level of instruction.

  2. For OJT and Skills Training, states will report total number of participants and breakdown by age and length of training.

  3. For Case Management, states will report total number of participants and breakdown by age and timeframe/type of service.

  4. For Other Employability Services, states will report total number of participants and breakdown by the type of service.


SCHEDULE D:

Unaccompanied Refugee Minors

  1. Two new reporting sections are added (Placement Capacity & Expenditures).

  2. Narrative is structured to provide uniformity and standard for reporting.
