Abstract: The National Professional Development program provides professional development activities intended to improve instruction for students with limited English proficiency and assists education personnel working with such children to meet high professional standards. This is a new semi-annual reporting for the Government Performance Results Act and for the purposes of the National Professional Development Program. This data is necessary to assess the performance of the National Professional Development program in meeting its stated goals and objectives as well as reporting to the Department of Education Office of the Secretary.
