This data collection is designed to provide HUD information regarding the Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant Program NOFA applications to ensure that information is provided to HUD in a standard manner.
The Department is seeking emergency review for this new information collection which supports the issuance of $100 million dollars through the Sustainable Regional Planning Grant Program that was part of Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (Public Law 111-117). In compliance with the requirements of 5 CFR 1320.13, the request for emergency processing is essential because the use of the normal clearance procedures is reasonably likely to cause distribution of the funds, which has a statutory deadline, to be missed or disrupted.
