FEMA's temporary housing assistance provides temporary housing to eligible applicants or victims of federally declared disasters. This information is required to determine that the infrastructure of the site supports the installation of the unit. This collection also obtains permission for the unit to be placed on the property, and the property owner certifies that they will not have a lien placed against the unit for their own debts will maintain the property so that FEMA can remove the unit when required.

There is now a decrease for this collection because at the time of the last submission, the burden was calculated based on the increased activity resulting from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and now responses are estimated at a lower number that reflects the expected activity. For FEMA Form 010-0-10, the total Annual Hour Burden has decreased from 19,512 to 850, a reduction of 18,662 hours. There is now a decrease for this collection because at the time of the last submission, the burden was calculated based on the increased activity resulting from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and now responses are estimated at a lower number that reflects the expected activity.
