Abstract: Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) can purchase insurance coverage from a nonprofit insurance entity owned and controlled by PHas which are approved by HUD. PHA-owned insurance entities must submit certain documentation to HUD and also submit audit and actuarial reviews to HUD.
