Abstract: NRC has revised the NRC Form 748 in order to better meet the needs of licensees. The required information remains the same. A short form and a long form have been developed. Licensees who need to report a single transaction type can use the short form, which only includes the response options for that type of transaction. Licensees who need to report multiple transaction types may use the long form. Import and export were added as transaction types, because licensees were previously confused about how to report them (previously these transactions were reported as receipts and transfers, respectively). In addition, some labels were modified for clarity, and the ability to submit the form electronically has been enhanced. No change in burden is requested.
