The purposes of the Evaluation of SNAP Nutrition Education Practice Wave II is determine whether any of the three selected projects can serve as a good example of SNAP-Ed delivery that that (1) positively affect the nutrition and health behaviors of SNAP participants while adhering to FNS Guiding Principles, (2) exhibit the potential to serve as models of effective nutrition education intervention for large segments of the SNAP audience while requiring levels of resources that are manageable by a large percentage of SNAP-Ed-implementing agencies, and (3) provide methodologically robust yet logistically practical examples of project-level SNAP-Ed evaluation efforts.
