Abstract: This data collection is an evaluation of the Supplemental Security Income (SSI)/Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) Outreach Access and Recovery (SOAR) initiative. The SSI and SSDI programs provide cash assistance to individuals with qualifying disabilities. Individuals apply to receive benefits and eligibility is contingent on having a medical condition that meets SSA's definition of disability. SOAR aims to increase access to these programs among people who are homeless and thereby improve their quality of life.
