This package requests clearance to recruit Teacher Residency Programs (TRPs) and districts for a study of TRPs. The study will provide important implementation information on TRPs funded by the U.S. Department of Education, as well as on their participants. It will also provide information on the achievement of students of TRP teachers and the retention rates of TRP teachers. Study findings will be presented in two reports, one scheduled for release in Fall 2013 and the other in Fall 2014.
