This ICR addresses the activities of state and local employees who perform asbestos abatement activities. Employers are required to report hazards of asbestos abatement projects, to train employees about the hazards of asbestos, to monitor employees' exposure, to provide medical surveillance, and to maintain records of these activities. Employees are required to take training.
