Changing Regulations
The number of annual respondents increased due to program changes which occurred as a result of amendments to FTA's Charter Service regulations by Final Rule on January 14, 2008. The decrease in burden hours is attributable to the fact that responses are now collected electronically through FTA's charter registration Website since its inception in 2008 when the Charter Service regulations, 49 C.F.R. Section 604, were amended.
