The information gathered on Forms
FNS-798 and 798-A is used to report monthly financial participation
data and closeout WIC grants as required by the Child Nutrition
Act.
This is a revision of a
currently approved data collection. The burden decreased due to
program changes from 5,285 to 4,523. The program is no longer
required to report funding from the American Recovery Reinvestment
Act. In addition, the proposed revision will return to a prior
format to allow WIC State agencies to report unliquidated NSA
obligations as a cumulative year-to-date total.
