The State and Local Area Integrated Survey (SLAITS) mechanism developed by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) supplements current national data collection strategies by providing in-depth national state, and local area data. This flexible population-based survey mechanism is designed to collect data rapidly and cost effectively on abroad range of topics, and addresses a critical need for subnational data. This request is for a generic three-year clearance for this package.
