Abstract: After receiving a notice that SSA proposes to cease their disability benefits, recipients are afforded an opportunity to submit written comments to explain why their disability continues. The information provided by the recipients under these rules, together with other evidence in the case record, is used to determine if the individual continues to have an impairment that meets the severity requirements.
