The Program Instruction for the Children's Justice Act grants, authorized by Title I of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA), provides direction to States and Territories to accomplish the purposes of assisting States in developing, establishing, and operating programs designed to improve: the handling of child abuse and neglect cases.
